Migraine Monday

  Another Migraine Monday! My day started out great, no pain and a nice breakfast with my family and about noon the pain began. The pain ruined my whole day, we were set to take the kiddies to Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags but that quickly got cancelled. The migraine is still kicking at this very moment. I am hoping to get some type of sleep and wake up pain free.

Thursday's Trauma

Happy Thursday!
        I think not! I have a bone to pick with you Thursday, you kinda feel like a Monday to me! I have a migraine this morning! I woke up feeling as if I slept hanging upside down. I hate that feeling, it's like my head feels like all the blood in my body is up there! My head feels warmer than the rest of my body on the inside but a little cooler on the outside. I guess kind of like a peppermint patty effect. Just so drained, nauseated, fatigued, and all out cranky! Time to go back to bed and pray the medicine chases the migraine away. Sunday's Pain

            I woke up about 7a.m. with a mini migraine, meaning it wasn't in full blown migraine madness as of yet. Sometimes I can have my morning cup of coffee, a hot shower and some Tylenol and the pain would ease up by noon. I wasn't that lucky today. It's already 2:21pm and I am not out of pain yet. I now have to drive my son to work in this condition. I am not a happy camper at this moment. Anyway, have a blessed Sunday all!

The Evening Headache

   Last night about 8:45 a headache sprung up out of no where! I was all set and ready to watch Empire at 9pm and got stopped in my tracks from the last minute headache. I was supposed to get some writing done last night as well and that didn't happen, of course! Looking forward to watching Scandal tonight and getting some writing done.

Hoping to see change

I am really  hoping to see some new found relief from the constant attack of the chronic migraine. I am on meds for my hypertension and I am trying something new for my migraines. It's only been a week and so far the main side effects are nausea and fatigue. I feel so sleepy and sluggish after taking my meds. I was not happy about the price of the migraine medicine! So many people are having to let their meds sit at the drug store because they cost to much. I have a friend who has a prescription that costs $149 and another friend who has one for $300! Highway robbery to get your meds! They call it Healthcare and I call it they don't care! You have a stroke just from seeing the bill at the drug store. God please intervene and help us, Your people because we need You Lord.
